Q: How do I collect money for a gift? Does it cost extra?

When setting up your Thankbox, you can enable the Gift Collection feature to collect money for a gift card. This feature is included as standard across all Thankboxes. Contributors can add donations along with their messages, which get added to the overall gift collection pot. The recipient cannot see who contributed to the gift pot, or the individual amounts contributed. There is a small additional fee for using the Gift Collection feature to cover part of our payment processing & fraud prevention costs. We do not make money from these fees, they are simply the costs charged to us by our payment platform. To minimise fees when making multiple contributions you can top up your gifting wallet once and use it for multiple Thankboxes. All collected funds are securely held until the Thankbox is sent, after which the recipient can exchange them for a digital gift voucher of their choice or a prepaid Visa card.
