Terms of use
1. This is a PC Jeweller Gold GV (Gift Voucher)/e-Pay, and it can be redeemed at all the participating PC Jeweller stores and on the PC Jeweller https://www.pcjeweller.com/.
2. The person having the GV/e-Pay is deemed to be the beneficiary.
3. The GV/e-Pay can only be used to purchase Gold Jewellery and Diamond Jewellery.
4. The GV/e-Pay can be used during sales or promotional periods.
5. Multiple GVs can be used against one bill on the online website and at participating PC Jeweller stores
6. Once a GV has been added to the online e-Pay wallet, it cannot be used at PC Jeweller offline stores.
7. Multiple GV/e-Pay can be combined and added to the online e-Pay wallet. The e-Pay balance can be used across multiple transactions on the PC Jeweller website until the balance is exhausted.
8. The e-Pay balance must be linked to the registered mobile number.
9. The GV/e-Pay balance cannot be transferred to another e-Pay account, exchanged for cash, or converted into any other form of currency.
10. In case of product returns, no refund by way of cash will be given for the amount paid through the GV/e-Pay.
11. The GV/e-Pay is not a legal tender or replacement for a debit/credit card.
12. GV/e-Pay is non-refundable, non-transferable, may not be exchanged or resold, and may not be redeemed for cash.
13. The GV/e-Pay CANNOT be revalidated once expired or cancelled under any circumstances.
14. An outlet may refuse to accept the GV/e-Pay due to technical or administrative reasons. If the GV/e-Pay gets blocked due to a technical issue, it will be enabled within 72 hours.
15. PC Jeweller/GyFTR reserves the right to change, cancel, or update any of the terms and conditions of this offer at any time without prior notice.
16. PC Jeweller may choose not to honour the offer if there is any suspicion of misuse or abuse of the offer, and is not required to explain such cases.
17. PC Jeweller/GyFTR is not responsible if the GV/e-Pay is lost, damaged, stolen, or used without permission.

How are digital gift cards delivered?

When the Thankbox is sent the recipient receives a unique and secure link to redeem their gift. They choose their currency, retailer online gift card of choice or prepaid Visa, Mastercard or PayPal or Bank transfer option, and are then sent the virtual digital gift card, individual e-voucher or transfer instructions to their inbox.

How does the recipient spend their digital gift voucher?

Once the recipient has chosen their currency, retailer online gift card of choice or prepaid Visa, Mastercard or PayPal or Bank transfer option they can then go shopping. Ensuring to select any ‘pay by online gift voucher’ or similar option at checkout.

Many stores will also allow any virtual gift card to be used for more than one transaction, up to the gift card collection total amount. Split payments between virtual gift cards and credit cards are also common with many retailers, as are payments in physical stores, John Lewis being a good example.

Does adding to an online gift card collection have any fees?

We add a small fee to each gift contribution to cover our payment processing & fraud check costs.

This amount varies depending on the currency you are collecting in:
🇬🇧 GBP collections are charged at 1.1% + £0.17. e.g. contributing £10 means you'll pay £10.28
🇪🇺 EUR collections are charged at 2.5% + €0.17. e.g. contributing €10 means you'll pay €10.42
🇺🇸 USD collections are charged at 2.9% + $0.19. e.g. contributing $10 means you'll pay $10.48

The fee is always clearly and explicitly stated whenever someone leaves a contribution.

To minimise fees when making multiple contributions you can top up your gifting wallet once and use it for multiple Thankboxes.

Are payment details handled safely?

Thankbox uses Stripe as our payment provider. They are the gold standard for internet payments, used by companies such as Airbnb, Lyft and Booking.com. They handle all of the payment details, including security. 

All collected digital gift card funds are stored in a dedicated secure bank account with restricted access.

Can I pay for my Thankbox from the collection pot?

100% you can!

It's a great way to split the cost of sending the Thankbox between all the contributors. Just pick the Pay from your gift collection balance option when checking out.
